Where are the classes?

Just a quick note. I know that I haven't updated my class schedule--I have no classes planned for 2010 yet. There's a reason! I will be starting a new and in many ways different job in January. I really just don't know what my schedule will be just yet. As I get used to the new job and schedule, I will plan classes.

Please DO email me if there's a certain class you would like--specific techniques, highlighting certain tools or stamp sets, etc. I like to be flexible!

I'll be posting projects soon. I am in need of some down time with my stamp stuff--and I may just get the chance soon! I have several items from the new (upcoming) Occasions mini catalog to share with you.

Dies, Dies, Dies, Dies

Pinata Party!

Here's a card I made awhile back. I saw it when I downloaded pictures from my camera. Since I don't erase old photos too readily from the camera, I thought it must be an old picture (as others were there), but couldn't find it here on the blog. So if it's old, I'm sorry!

 I recently bought the Bella Toile background stamp--I LOVE the background stamps! I stamped the bottom (green) with Bella Toile. I added a strip of brown. The pinata is from the Cumpleanos set, which is NOT in the regular catalog. It's featured in the Spanish-language catalog (Celebrando Creatividad--click on the image in the sidebar to view a .pdf file of it). Yes, you are able to order from that catalog--I really love several of the sets there!

Stampin' Up! also features French stamp sets. Quite a few of the sets are available in English, Spanish, and French, although usually the images are the same and only the wording is different. The Spanish catalog, however, features several sets with images that are exclusive to that catalog. Be sure to view it today!

I think I got this idea from Kimberly Van Diepen, but it's been awhile and I've forgotten. The person who first did this I believe had an ornament, but I liked using the pinata! (That color is Dusty Durango, by the way!)

Christmas card idea

Here's a card I made recently. I was trying to come up with a design for my Christmas cards. I still like this idea, but decided against it for this year's card.

 I used a tree from the set Lovely as a Tree. The snowflakes are from the level 2 hostess set, Christmas Punch.

Departing stamp sets--last chance to get them!

No, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. I haven't stopped stamping, either. I'm in my "I've got to make a decision on Christmas cards!" panic. It's also why I'm not sharing card designs--don't want to share them until after the recipients get them.

Anyway, Stampin' Up! has announced that the following stamp sets (currently on the Dormant List--not in the current catalog) will not be available after January 4, 2010. Be sure to put them on your holiday wish list! They will NOT run out early (SU! makes them, so they will make as many as are needed.)
